Accounts & Wealth Manager · Truth Computing
Jayalalitha Torre
Accounts, payments, and inventory, handled on two continents. She ran the payment side of a securities firm in Singapore, then spent two decades in California keeping inventory and distribution honest, where the count either matches the ledger or someone loses money. At Truth Computing she is Accounts and Wealth Manager.
The work
We go inside a business, find the work that is hardest to get right, and rebuild it, until the people who depend on it can trust it completely.
What she can do for your business
01
The money leaves correctly
Check payments, electronic fund transfer orders, journal vouchers, and the monthly interest and rebate schedule. She has run the payment desk of a securities firm, where a transfer sent wrong is not a rounding problem.
02
Stock treated as capital
Reorder points, lead times, and shelf life managed as what they actually are, which is cash sitting still. She has changed inventory procedure specifically to free up cash flow, not just to tidy a stockroom.
03
The count matches the ledger
Two decades of floor level inventory and distribution work. She knows the difference between what the system says is on the shelf and what is on the shelf, and she knows which one the business is about to act on.
04
Clients get a straight answer
Inquiries from clients and dealers, invoices, quotations, and filings, all handled by the same person who knows the underlying numbers. The account holder hears back, and what they hear is correct.
Jayalalitha was educated at Ghim Moh Secondary School in Singapore, and began her career there as Accounts Manager at Vickers Ballas & Company PTE Ltd. For eight years she generated and prepared check payments, payment orders for electronic fund transfers, journal vouchers, and the monthly interest and rebate schedule. She managed accounts up to $400,000, and handled the inquiries, bookings, invoices, quotations, and filings that came with them.
In California she moved to the physical side of the same problem. At WIS International in Corona she held inventory levels against a 90 day lead time, placed reorders before they were urgent, kept stock inside a 180 day shelf life, tracked orders from initiation through to customer delivery, and initiated procedural changes to improve cash flow. Since 2013 she has been a logistic operator at TJ Maxx in Chino Hills, covering an assigned territory, implementing signage and merchandising, and making certain authorized items are distributed and set to shelf standards.
The through line is one skill in two forms: making the record agree with reality, whether the record is a ledger or a shelf. At Truth Computing she is Accounts and Wealth Manager. She holds the accounts, watches what the company owns and what it owes, and answers the question every business eventually has to answer honestly, which is where the money actually is.
The standard she is held to
She is not measured against the last set of books she balanced. She is measured against the people who never let one slip.
Truth Computing sets that bar on purpose. She is handed accounts that matter more than the title usually carries, and given the time to become the person who can hold them. Most people in this work are trained to close the month. She is being trained to make the month impossible to close wrong.
